Directors, Sue and Dave Winchester each have over 30 years experience in the leisure industry and have used this experience when creating and promoting Rural Accommodations Ltd now in its fourteenth year. When the company originally started supplying high quality bespoke garden and leisure products it was clear that there was a great demand for products both beautiful and robust. As the market grew so did the competition. It was decided to move forward and offer larger chalets such as studios and holiday chalets. Using the technical experience Rural Accommodations could say that the company pioneered the transition from "Log Cabin" to "Mobile Home" this meant taking on planning authorities and appeal processes. Needless to say the company soon became in much larger projects and with great success. This was once described by a competitor in the business "Rural Accommodations go where others fail to tread"

Q. Do I need planning for a chalet or log cabin?
A. In many instances (subject to size & design) planning is not required if used for a domestic or leisure purpose. This may include Crafts, Hobbies, Summer Houses, Swimming Pool Covers, Sauna –Spa Pools, Gymnasiums, Pets, Playrooms, Personal Study, Storage, Garages.
